At Cambridge Academy of English, we strive to provide high-quality educational services. We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel your enrolment. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling courses and requesting refunds.
Cancellation by You
- Course Cancellation:
- If you wish to cancel your course enrolment, you must notify us in writing via email at info@cambridgeacademyofenglish.com
- The date of the cancellation request will be considered the date on which we receive your written notification.
- Refund Eligibility:
- Before Course Start Date:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a non-refundable administrative fee of £50.
- Cancellations made between 15 to 30 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total course fee.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund.
- After Course Start Date:
- Once the course has started, no refunds will be issued.
- Visa Refusals:
- If your visa application is refused, you must provide us with a copy of the visa refusal letter. Upon receipt, we will refund the course fee in full, minus the non-refundable administrative fee of £50.
Cancellation by Us
- Course Cancellation:
- We reserve the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be notified promptly and will receive a full refund of all fees paid.
- Force Majeure:
- We are not liable for refunds or compensation in the event of force majeure (events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, or pandemics) that necessitate the closure of our facilities or cancellation of courses. We will, however, make every effort to reschedule the affected courses.
Refund Process
- Requesting a Refund:
- To request a refund, please email us at info@cambridgeacademyofenglish.com with your full name, course details, and reason for the refund request.
- Processing Time:
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of approval. The refund will be issued using the same method of payment used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Administrative Fee: £50
- Bank Transfer Charges: Any charges incurred during the refund process.
